Aleutian Islands Trekking Course
The Alaska Peninsula is the destination here, with stops in Anchorage, Kodiak, and Dutch Harbor. Our first stop will be Alaska’s largest city, and most crowded airspace, Anchorage. After Anchorage, we will depart down the Kenai Peninsula and Cook Inlet to Kenai and Homer, two villages that rely heavily on the fishing industry of Alaska. Next stop, Kodiak Island, where the largest Grizzly Bears in Alaska live. After Kodiak, we will return to mainland Alaska, where we will view mountainous terrain and narrow valleys.
Our furthest destination, Unalaska, Alaska, is better known as Dutch Harbor, from the Discovery Channel show “Deadliest Catch”. On our return to Talkeetna, we will venture further north to Iliamna and Lake Clark Pass, where we will put your picture taking skills to the test with the awe inspiring Alaska Range.
